Jordyn Davis-Pope (She/Her)
MSW, LCSW, CCTP, EMDR Trained
A little about Jordyn: In my free time, I love to get outdoors to hike or camp with my family. I also enjoy a good board game and traveling. I grew up in Oregon, but life as a military spouse has led me to many different parts of the country and world. I identify as biracial and am LGBTQIA+ affirming!
I believe that many of the issues we face are rooted in "stuck" memories-those caused by any number of painful or traumatic events that continue to cause us distress in our daily lives. This distress may arise in the form of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), and any number of other forms. I believe in developing a collaborative treatment plan with you, built from a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that centers you and your individual needs. I utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and SF (Solutions Focused Therapy), and work with people of all genders ages 12+. I have prior experience working in diverse areas including domestic violence shelters, city prosecutor's office, public schools, and community mental health centers.
